Version 26.6.01 marks the global debut of CookieRun Classic — the game that started a franchise played by over 300 million people. Devsisters announced the worldwide release at DevNow 2026 in March and opened pre-registration in June before the June 25 launch.

This build preserves the classic two-button endless-runner formula while bringing post-2024 Korea revival content to international players. The App Store and Google Play both list the update as "CookieRun Classic Grand Launch" with package ID com.devsisters.crg.

Players arriving from CookieRun: Kingdom or OvenBreak should expect a simpler but deeper runner. There is no base-building — progression comes from collecting Cookies and Pets, upgrading Treasures, and competing in real-time League rankings.

Key Features in the Global Launch

Global League competition ranks your best run against players worldwide in weekly seasons. This is the first time international audiences can compete in the original CookieRun League system.

DevPlay account linking lets you preserve progress across devices and prepare for future cross-title rewards within the Devsisters ecosystem. The in-game UI now uses the CookieRun font family for visual consistency with newer franchise titles.

K-Culture Cookies inspired by Korean folklore and cuisine are exclusive to CookieRun Classic. Characters like Princess Bari Cookie, Admiral Gimbap Cookie, and Lotus Root Phantom Cookie were previously Korea-only and now appear in the global roster.

Launch Characters and Content

Lotus Root Phantom Cookie and Lotus Sitter Pet headline the launch banner. Lotus Root Phantom generates high-yield lotus jellies suited for League score pushes, while Lotus Sitter provides cooldown reduction that extends ability uptime during bonus time.

Pine Monk Cookie arrives with a travel-party event offering growth materials for mid-game players. Admiral Gimbap Cookie (SS-grade) and Princess Bari Cookie (the first SS-grade Cookie in franchise history) are also featured at launch.

Beyond characters, the update includes the Plum Blossom Palace of the Underworld episode — the first new episode added in roughly ten years — plus Choco Pistachio Cookie from the 2025 Dubai chocolate trend collaboration and Dandelion Fairy Cookie for the 13th anniversary spring season.

Download CookieRun Classic free from the Apple App Store (ID 6759596824) or Google Play. The game requires no mandatory permissions — notifications and tracking are optional for event alerts and personalized ads.
