Cookie Run for Kakao (쿠키런 for Kakao) served South Korea exclusively for over a decade. CookieRun Classic launched globally on June 25, 2026 as Devsisters' fourth localization of the original endless runner after LINE Cookie Run and regional variants.

Korean veterans playing since the 2024 revival already experienced SS Cookies, Plum Blossom Palace, and Party Run before international players. The global release packages this content for worldwide audiences under English names.

Regional Availability

CookieRun Classic: Available worldwide except South Korea and India. Download from App Store (ID 6759596824) or Google Play (com.devsisters.crg).

Cookie Run for Kakao: Korea only, Korean language, Kakao account integration. Official updates on @cookierun4kakao.

Players in excluded regions should use their regional version rather than VPN workarounds — account support and purchases may not function correctly across regions.

Content Sync Status

As of version 26.6.01, global Classic includes: Lotus Root Phantom launch banner, Grand Open events, DevNow 2026 Alphabet Jelly event, Plum Blossom Palace episode (January 2026 Kakao update), SS-grade Cookies, and Party Run permanent mode.

Account and League Differences

Global Classic requires DevPlay account linking for cross-device saves. Kakao version uses Kakao login infrastructure — accounts do not merge.

Why can't Korea download CookieRun Classic?

South Korea and India are excluded because Cookie Run for Kakao and Cookie Run India already serve those markets. Korean players continue on the Kakao version.
